In the chemical raw material gas produced from coal or heavy oil, COS and CS2 are the main organic sulfides, and trace amounts of COS and CS2 are the main cause of poisoning of many catalysts in the post-processing section. Therefore, how to effectively remove trace amounts of COS and CS2 is a problem that must be solved at present.
COS can be removed with a hydrolysis catalyst, but temperature raising and cooling equipment need to be installed, and CS2 is difficult to remove at low temperature. The ZL-104 conversion absorption fine desulfurizer can make up for the above shortcomings. The desulfurizer can not only finely remove H2S, but also finely remove COS and CS2 at room temperature.

Working principle of activated carbon desulfurizer:
COS and CS2 in the raw material gas are converted into H2S under the action of the active components in the ZL-104 transformation and absorption fine desulfurizer. The active components react to form complexes with high boiling point and high stability, which are adsorbed into the micropores of activated carbon.
Main feature of activated carbon desulfurizer:
Compared with activated carbon, iron oxide desulfurizer and COS hydrolysis catalyst, ZL-104 conversion absorption fine desulfurizer has the following characteristics:
1. Activated carbon, iron oxide and other desulfurizers can only remove H2S at room temperature, and cannot remove or remove organic sulfur. Although ZL-103 can remove COS, but its sulfur capacity is low, while CT-104 can not only remove H2S, but also remove COS and CS2. Its desulfurization accuracy is H2S, COS, CS2 are all less than or equal to 0.03ppm, and the total sulfur (H2S+COS+CS2) can be ≤0.1ppm.
2. The COS room temperature hydrolysis catalyst is based on alumina, and alumina is hydrophilic, and it is easy to form capillary condensation at room temperature, so it is necessary to set up temperature raising and cooling equipment, while ZL-104 conversion and absorption fine desulfurizer is based on activated carbon. The carrier, activated carbon is hydrophobic, so it can realize the removal of COS under the condition of real normal temperature (~50°C) saturated or near saturated water vapor, saving the temperature raising and cooling equipment.
